What is the problem then? The problem is that, the situation comes back again and I have to do the install and uninstall of the LifeCam software. Once it was installed, I had to UNINSTALL it. What I had to do to fix this problem is Download LifeCam 4.2 and install it. Initially I was NOT able to capture 1080p video. I have written a program using Microsoft Media Foundation that captures 1920x1080 video. I have a Microsoft LifeCam Studio Camera.
